    Yuri Raifeld

    Prof. Raifeld has over 30 years of successful senior management experience in healthcare. In a few short years, he grew Lagopharm to become a professional service provider, consistently recognized for quality, outstanding expertise, and strong ethical character.

    Prior to founding Lagopharm, Prof. Raifeld served as President and Chief Operating Officer for ClinStar, a leading Russian Clinical Research Organization, which he co-founded and grew to over 200 employees in Russia, Ukraine, and the US. Before ClinStar, Prof. Raifeld worked for seven years at Wyeth in the US, where he oversaw a team of 30 researches who successfully developed and patented a new type of RSV inhibitors.

    Before starting his career in business, Prof. Raifeld founded and headed a laboratory for total synthesis of biologically-active compounds at Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology (MIFCT). He has published extensively in Russian and international scientific journals, with over 120 articles and reviews and 20 patents to his name.

    Prof. Raifeld received his M.S., Ph.D., and Dr. Sci. degrees from MIFCT.

    Elena Brin

    Elena graduated from the North-Ossetian State Medical Academy as an MD. After completing post-graduate studies at the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, Elena obtained a PhD in medicine and served as a professor at the Department of Pharmacology. Elena got her business degree (MBA) at Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics.

    Elena started her career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1993 as a medical representative of Boehringer Ingelheim. Further, Elena held senior jobs in sales and marketing at such large companies as Schering-Plough, Lechiva, and GlaxoSmithKline. Between 2009 and 2019, Elena served as General Director of the Actelion pharmaceuticals RUS company.

    Since May 2019, Elena has held the position of General Director of Lagopharm. As General Director, Elena provides overall management and monitoring of Lagopharm’s activities.

    Alexey Cherpakov

    Dr. Cherpakov has worked in Russia’s pharmaceutical industry for over 20 years. While at Lagopharm, he has successfully managed numerous marketing, market access, and commercialization projects – across a number of therapeutic areas.

    Before joining Lagopharm, Dr. Cherpakov was a team leader of oncology business at Pfizer’s Moscow office. Prior to that, he held a variety of marketing positions at Ipsen and Pharmacia & Upjohn, gaining extensive experience in endocrinology, oncology, neurology, ophthalmology, and antibacterial chemotherapy.

    Dr. Cherpakov received his M.D. degree from Moscow Medical University.

    Svetlana Miroshnikova

    Svetlana received a degree education in medicine from Altai State Medical University. She has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 1998, having started her career at the ROSTA company. Between 2007 and 2016, Svetlana worked for GlaxoSmithKline, first as a regional distribution manager, but soon her professional qualities propelled her to the role of national commercial manager. Before joining the management team at Lagopharm, Svetlana was the head of the Commercial Department at the Veropharm group of companies (part of the Abbott conglomerate).

    Svetlana has been the head of the Commercial Department since almost the first days of Lagopharm’s existence. Her knowledge of current market trends and twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry contribute to the dynamic development of the company.

    Olga Vybornaya

    Olga earned a degree in finance and credit from the Faculty of Economics and Management at Moscow Technological University. In 2014, Olga was certified by the Institute of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Russia to serve as a chief accountant of a commercial organization. In 2015, she received a diploma in international financial reporting standards, DipIFR. Olga is also certified by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

    Olga has been working in the pharmaceutical industry since 2007. She took a leading role in the creation of Lagopharm. At the moment, her area of responsibility includes managing the company’s financial operations, including tax planning, budgeting, and interaction with credit institutions.

    Natalia Konoplyanko

    Natalia earned a degree in chemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University. She also received a diploma in translation from the Moscow State Linguistics University. Natalia started rising through the ranks in the pharmaceutical industry in 1998 as a medical representative of Janssen Cilag. Moreover, Natalia held lead positions in marketing, sales, market access, medical support, and commercial efficiency in such large companies as Schering-Plough, Sanofi, GlaxoSmithKline, and Baxter. Natalia boasts great experience in therapeutic areas and distribution channels for a wide variety of products: from over-the-counter drugs to prescription drugs, hospital drugs, and medical devices.

    Besides, Natalia has extensive professional expertise in introducing new drugs to the market, as well as implementing innovative methods for promoting and evaluating business performance. In 2020, Natalia was appointed head of Lagopharm’s Marketing Department.

    Tatyana Ryazanova

    Tatyana earned a degree in veterinary medicine from Altai State Agrarian University. Her first professional stint in the pharmaceutical industry was at the ROSTA company. Between 2008 and 2015, she progressed from being a pharmaceutical representative to a manager’s role working with the national pharmacy chains Sanofi, Rompharma, and OTCpharm. From 2015 to 2019, she served as a National Manager at Laboratoires Expanscience.

    In March 2020, she joined the Lagopharm team, where she applies her experience and knowledge to great effect.

    Elena Kabaeva

    Elena has outstanding experience in the field of regulatory issues in Russia. As part of her professional activity, she has provided consulting services for more than 100 registration applications, playing a key role in solving the most complex and unconventional regulatory tasks, always ensuring a positive customer outcome. Her experience in regulatory processes in Russia and other CIS countries makes Elena an indisputable authority in this field. At Lagopharm, Elena performs a full range of services in pharmacovigilance as well as medical and regulatory support.

    Elena spent more than 20 years as an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, where she received a PhD in medicine.

    Tatyana Matveeva

    Tatiana graduated from the Specialized Training and Research Center at Novosibirsk State University. She received a bachelor’s degree in quality management from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. Currently, she is studying for a master’s degree in economics and law at the same institution.

    In 2017, she started working at Raifarm as a quality assurance specialist. Tatiana joined the Lagopharm team in April 2020.

    Dmitry Dmitriev

    Dr. Dmitriev used his over 20 years of leadership experience in the Russian pharmaceutical industry to establish a solid foundation at Raifarm and continue to develop and grow the company.

    Before joining Lagopharm, Dr. Dmitriev headed PharmaNet’s Russian office, as Director of Clinical Research, supervising a team of 35 professionals in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Novosibirsk. Before that, he was head of clinical operations for Pfizer in Moscow. Consistently recognized for his managerial strength, he was awarded Best Team Leader, Pfizer Russia.

    Dr. Dmitriev taught for nine years at Russian State Medical University, ultimately reaching Associate Professor of Medicine. He has extensive experience as a practicing cardiologist and is responsible for over 40 publications, one monograph, and five patents.

    Dr. Dmitriev received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Russian State Medical University, and has an MBA from the UK’s Open University.

    Mikhail Groubman

    Mikhail earned a master’s degree in biochemistry from Lomonosov Moscow State University. He started his career at the Clinical Department of GlaxoSmithKline, where he served as a regional manager for clinical research in oncology. Subsequently, Mikhail worked as a regional director for the Department of Health Services within the Commercial Department.

    In 2012, Mikhail became the head of Atlant Clinical, an independent international contract research organization. In 2016, he joined the Lagopharm team.
